What are ALPHA, BETA and RC versions?

Dibloc is a social network, but first of all it is an application, a web software, and as such crosses various stages of development: from conception, design, then passing through the programming and output of different releases to which are connected the Test Run phases, before restricted to a limited number of users (Alpha testing), after for all (Beta testing).
During the tests some features may be intentionally limited or entirely excluded, with the intention of testing specific parameters or lightening the server load with a lower data stream.
The purpose is to fine-tune the application, eliminate bugs and malfunctions and implement it through the valuable contribution of tester users, to reach a definite pre-release (RC) stable and performing.
