Perché non c'è un ponte sullo stretto di Gibilterra? - Focus.it

Nonostante la distanza sia di soli 14km, il fondale è troppo profondo e le correnti sono molto forti. Oltre al fatto che un ponte costerebbe miliardi di euro ... Se già la realizzazione del ponte sullo Stretto di Messina è una sfida ai limiti della fisica, costruire un collegamento tra Europa e Africa attraverso un passaggio sullo stretto di Gibilterra è un'impresa ancora maggiore. Il motivo principale non è però legato alla lunghezza (comunque più che quadrupla: parliamo di 14,4 km...
